“A labyrinth is not a maze. A maze is designed for you to lose your way; a labyrinth is designed for you to find your way”-Lauren Artress

Life coaching is a goal oriented practice, intended to help you become the happiest, most fulfilled, most authentic version of yourself.

Now, what does that mean?

When I take on a client, the first thing I do is get to know them. After all, this practice is ultimately about YOUR goals. It doesn’t matter what I, or your parents, or your friends, or society at large think you should be doing. It’s about what YOU want. If that’s not clear to you, I help you dig down through the layers of expectation and assumption to get to the core of your motivations. What’s really driving you? What will satisfy your needs?

Once we know the goal (or goals), I work with my clients to establish a plan on how to achieve those goals. Sometimes that involves creating new habits. Sometimes it involves breaking down the steps for a long term goal into small, manageable tasks. Sometimes it involves brainstorming alternative ways to progress when previous paths have been blocked. It depends on you, how you learn, change, and grow, and what the scope of your goals are.

While we put the plan into practice, I’m here for accountability and support. Like a trainer at the gym, a teacher at school, or a mentor in life, I’m here to remind you of what you’re capable of and hold you to your standards. I’m also here to remind you that failure is part of life, there’s always an alternate route, and we each deserve from ourselves the same grace we would offer a friend or loved one. Starting something new is often easy, but commitment can be hard. Having someone in your corner is invaluable.

If you’d like to begin growing into your favorite version of yourself, I’m excited to hear from you.
